08 STI Gold BBS
Hey guys I tried searching but I couldn't find a post that answers my question. I'm about to get a good deal on a set of the 08 STI BBS's in gold. I just want to know if the rims would fit my WRB BRZ. And what kind of tire size I would have to use?

Wrong bolt pattern. Only sti wheels that will fit are 04 bbs, everything made after is 5x114

Get a set of '11/'12 WRX wheels and have them powdercoated?
http://www.cars101.com/subaru/impreza/wrx11wheel1.JPG They are a 53mm offset instead of 48mm, so they will be tucked further under the fenders. But they do fit. RCE has bolted a set on their car for fun. Spacers to get to the stock offset would require longer studs. |
you can get the "almost" exact same style wheel from wheeldude, called Rota Gravel. With 5x100 bolt pattern and in sizes 18x8 48 offset or 18x8.5 44 offset. I've seen guys that put STi stickers on the center caps and the look almost identical in my opinion. http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...oducts_id=6296
At the bottom of the page is pictures of the wheels on cars |

I had the silver version on my car. The wheel style changed in 08.

totally missed the year posted for sti wheels....fail :bonk:

Closest I can think of might be the OZ Ultraleggera.
http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheel...a_gd_ci3_l.jpg 18x8+48 BRZ Fitment at TireRack Or you might be able to talk a wheel shop into drilling a set of STI rims for 5x100 and putting in steel seats. |

Thanks everybody, the Rota Gravel looks really damn close to the older style. And the OZ looks closer to the new one. I'm definitely going to do my hw on this one... I was going to get a set of OEM 08 STI rims for dirt cheap because they had some road rash on 2 of the wheels.

SARD(quality?) has a 5x100 to 5x114 PCD spacer. I believe those 2008 BBS are +53, so with the spacer you will be running an offset of +38 which should be doable.
