My Toyota GT86 GT-APEX Concept (Unofficial)
 

Hey Guys

I wanted to present you my Concept of GT86. I own my Stock GT86 since 1 years and its been a pleasure for track and daily drive. This Concept just makes changes which make sense for my use and maybe other peoples priorities.

My aim with this Concept is to give the GT86 a Touch of the AE86 and combine sportiness and versatility. The GT86 represented more the GT2000 than the AE86 in my opinion.

That’s why I gave it a little longer back like the AE86. My Consumption is that it gets a bit more length and weight in the Rear. So, the GT86 Stock has according to my research F 53/R 47 Distribution. Increasing length would help to get an equal Weight Distribution:iono:.

An other important fact is the low center of gravity. The Problem will be the New Engine Design. Enough Talking, I let you read the Changes and eagerly waiting for your Opinions.

Body:

Longer Tail for more Backseat Space (Legroom), Trunk Space and more convinient in my opinion
Rear windows are a bit Longer
The Car is no more a 2 door instead a 3 door. This is because the trunk door will open fully like the Supra.

Wheels:

Toyota Intra Retro Wheels

Engine:

Successor Engine of 4A-GE or 3SGE Beams with 2.0-2.5 L displacement (Important Note: It must be engineered from Yamaha and Toyota)

Forced Induction is an open choice.


Im a real nab in case of Engines so dont hate me on that one:iono:. But these Engines were mostly suggested by other GT86 users. Thats why i took them in this change:cheers:.

Hatch adds weight. The very reason the Hachoroku hatch version weighed more than the coupe. Incidentally, the hatch was way better looking IMHO.

True, but only 40lbs. Im sure the concept would be more, but i think it could weight it out with better engine.
