Easiest/Cheapest way to get more power?
Hey guys, brand new owner of a FRS RS1.0 with 16,500 miles on it.
I'm looking for suggestions on the easiest engine mods that aren't exhaust (I enjoy the stock quad tip sound) to get a little more power without sacrificing reliability. I will most likely get some new beefier tires soon and then will be looking to get a small bump in power. |
Rom raider, tactrix cable, E85 tune.

I might open the Pandora box, but the best value for money mod is a lightweight pulley kit. Toda Racing kit is known to offer the best gains, but even a cheap single crankshaft pulley will provide almost the same results.

You're looking to strengthen the low end and midrange. Gains up top are nice but header/tune will really aid the driveability and make it a better dd.

Buy a car with more horsepower that is cheaper.

Cosworth stage 1.0 will give you 20hp with a flash, thermostat and drop in air filter. Not very cheap though but you will get race rom features that are nice plus the ability to use 91 or 93 octane gas.
