What is your bestowed gender of your cars?

I noticed many drivers apply a gender their cars. I tend to refer to my car as an "It" out of instinct. Without looking too far into the philosophy behind it or being too technical, how do you guys refer to your car? Anyone here who has one car they consider male, and another they consider female? Or other combination.

Lol that's why there is an other option.

As for me, depends on the car. Mostly refer to them as an 'it' but sometimes I name them according to some gender.

If I am going to be in something, it better be a girl.

I've never been one to assign a gender to objects. I also don't apply nicknames to people or objects. I'm also very happy that my real life name isn't one that has 5 different versions like Jonathan, Jon, Jonny, ect ect. People don't have to ask me what I like to be called. My brother in law's name is David. I've always called him Dave but suddenly he likes to be called David but says it's fine if I call him Dave. He has some complex rules. He says if you are an acquaintance you call him David. If you are a close friend it's Dave. If you are family it's David. I am a long time friend but now he is also family. So I don't know what to call him. Hahaha

The car is a machine. It doesn't love you, it doesn't hate you. It would do what it's made to do.
I always seriously question the mental health of all those people that name their cars. (That was a joke don't get butt hurt)

I have no idea what it's name or gender is yet, its one of those things you just know after you spend time with a car.

The only way to be sure is to turn it over and check between the rear wheels.
Or is that for kittens?

It took me five years to determine, but deemed him a male. Promptly named him Jean-Luc Picar.

Lately she smells funny when I make love to her.

Like a slight oil smell.

Perhaps I was driving her down the wrong road... who knows.

*Disclaimer I don't actually call my car "She" but I did use that line on the mechanic the other day and he died laughing so thought I'd share.

my car is cyborg extension of myself... Humans cant be perfect hence my car is not human.

Must be a slow day down in Florida ...... :D

If I gave my cars a gender ..... then I would have to give them a name ..... then I would have to remember their names .......... hell, I have enough trouble remembering the names of my granddaughters ...... :iono:
