Cars and Coffee - Oakville
 

Does your spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend roll their eyes when you talk about your FRS/BRZ?. Are they mildly perplexed that you drive one? . lol, Do you get asked
"Are you going through a mid life crisis?, Is everything ok with you?"

Thought about setting up a recurring meet and greet in Oakville, anchored to local and surrounding individuals who have wonderful people in their lives, but simply do to understand the cost effective thrill ride only an FRS/BRZ can offer.

Now if this is not you, but you are in or near Oakville, and like me, relish an opportunity for shop talk over coffee, get that Toyaburu polished up and lets make the Oakvillian's jealous.

Personally, my gf loves my BRZ and MR2. But I'm always happy to go to a meet closer to my home in Hamilton. Oakville is an easier drive than Vaughan.

I'd just ask that if this does become a thing, it gets scheduled for a different date/time from the Vaughan C&C.

Cause I'll be honest, if I had to choose, I'd probably end up at the Vaughan show

Would like to see this happen. Perhaps we could use the harbor spot on the other side of the lighthouse downtown. Love that spot, great for pictures and super nice spot to chill if it's nice out.

PS. Not sure oakvillians will be jealous haha Last sunday the Mclaren guys and porsche guys were doing exactly this. Saw not one but THREE 720s' and everything. Love Oakville cars... best place in Canada to go spotting hands down.

@sigh_On @TorontoNat @NyX_Nick If you want a nice group of people to meet, we have a club going in Milton for the last couple years. We host monthly meets and then some events in between - come on up from Oakville for our season opener Wednesday evening on May 16th.

We have grown to almost 100 members with people coming from all over west end GTA as well as KW/Guelph.

I know about the Milton meet, will most likely be there on the 16th

For those of us allergic to the general public or simply averse to car meets cuz of our cave dwelling tendencies... please post a pic!

I’d be keen to meet some fellow enthusiasts and get some feedback on FI systems.
My RS2 rides on Form 720’s with 245 Conti’s. Mods are a slow work in progress.

Depending on day and time I would make the drive. Only an hour or so from Woodstock where I work so not a big deal.

As few guys mention, depending the day/time, I'm in.
I'm in KW, but work on Woodstock, most of days loooong days, but weekends I'm free.

I mean, there's quite a few 86-centric gatherings happening this summer already, with Milton meets, BRZ World, Krispy Kreme etc....and 2 out of 3 of those are weekly!

But the more the merrier! As long as it doesn't conflict with anything else, I'd be down to join in, and could spread the word to my "crew" of 10+ cars to see if they want to tag along as well.
