Steering Wheel Trim
 

Hey, everyone. I've wasted about an hour and a half of my life trying to get the annoying steering wheel trim off. I did this about 6 months ago when I had my trim painted red, but now I'm getting it repainted blue to match my exterior. The steering wheel has 3 holes where 3 pins reside. The problem is that I can't hit the bottom pin because it no longer exists. I'm not sure if it broke when I put the trim back in, but I can no longer get the trim off due to the fact that the bottom pin seems to have disappeared. I come in hope for help on how to get inside the steering wheel without hitting that pin. Is there a loop hole because I've exhausted all my tries at finding the pin. Please help me in this torturous event that is the steering wheel trim.
