Nice setup and I love those work wheels. Do you know the weight on them?
|
The car looks great...awesome stance!
|
Looks nice. Big difference in fitment front to rear though?

Nice to see what it looks like on white. I've got a set of 18x8.5 +38's going onto a whiteout with 225/245's next week. :)

Nice photos!

How does the handling feel compared to stock size?
Looks really nice btw too, I also have whiteout and love black wheels on the car. |
The fitment looks a bit off in the rear IMO, but the wheels themselves look great!

I havent pushed it other than a bit of riding corners hard in the street and have not felt a terrible effect in handling. There is less wheel spin than stock thats for sure but i have to say i cant report any understeer yet i love how it handles with these tires. I still need an alignment so i will report back after doing this. Quote:

Looks great! Any rubbing/clearance issues?

Super

Gotta say good choice!!! I almost pulled the trigger on these wheels in pretty much the exact same setup, but was gonna wrap them in Hankook RS3's. In the end i think I'm gonna get the GramLight 57 Extremes in semi gloss black with the cutouts everyone loves to hate ;) i wanted the Full gloss but they said they werent doing that color at all, no vader wheels for my white FR-S.

Another car with the same combo:

were there any clearance issues in the front before the coilovers?? looks great. i've got a set of 8.5 +38 all round on the way.

Looking good dude. Jealous of the garage, but you're in Texas, everyone there has one. I miss Texas, a place where a decent house isn't 1million+
Rear camber plates? Those won't work in the rear because of the setup. You'll need the whiteline bolts or some control arms to correct any camber in the rear. I'm personally looking at getting some of the cusco rear adjustable control arms for my fine tuning adjustments for rear camber unless another company has something better. |
Ohhh ho ho. I see an AFE box on the shelf. Is that the Takeda intake?
|
cute dog. :p
