ugh... i like the designs of #1 and #5 but i hate those fonts. lol. Is those the final images?

And rightfully so.

I put so much blood sweat and tears into my design. I call it Finchy McFinch face.

So heartbroken.

I agree with this. Unfortunately most of the fonts in this one hurt my eyes :\ Hopefully the text in the chosen one can be tastefully re-formatted. :)

I agree with this, a lot of interesting ideas but god we need better fonts haha

No image is final. Things like fonts can be changed/tweaked

Even with better font #5 is way to busy. Bridge or flags pick one.

I like the design of #1, but RB is just soooo played out. Maybe if it was a more contemporary version.

#2 is great too, could use some refinement.

I like where #4 is going, very 50's hot rod inspired

Agreed with @Tcoat #5 is too busy

I actually like #6 & 7 the best. Good plays on the CA flag. Maybe combine the two and go further into the design: Left facing brown 86 on a patch of green grass with thick/bold black lines (instead of the fine lines), "NorCal 86 Republic" in the CA republic font below it, on a white shirt?

That is my idea kinda with the flags, since it was Trevor's idea and then the other one came a little more finished (I almost only listed one version tbh).


There will not be time for that. Just vote for the concept you like the most and provide feedback for everyone to see and help influence possible edits

Tower Bridge is cool but I don't think it's representative of the entire NorCal 86 group :iono:

I can make it red to be like golden gate bridge.

That's the same issue as before. Not exactly easy since there isn't a NorCal symbol unless you have a picture of literally Northern California lol. But if everybody is okay with Tower Bridge for the shirt I don't see why not.

With my extensive travel experience through NorCal I think a bridge, any bridge, is very representative! You guys have bridges to get onto bridges for crying out loud.

I dunno, then you've got a city like Portland with 11 bridges in it, so...

since it was so close, can we get a runoff for #2 and #5 with each getting a chance to restyle a little bit based on feedback?

my feedback on those 2:

#2, unsquash the font if possible, it looks a little awkward how the bottom part of each letter seems squashed. design is technically 3 colors so may have to reduce it to one shade of blue and the black (if meant to be on a white shirt).

#5, get rid of the flags and move the bridge accordingly, replace fonts with something more legible.

I'd agree. I think the same kinda thing happened last year, and so the second place design ended up being made later in the year anyway. It'd be cool to see 2nd revisions of these and then vote between the two if there's time.
