Toyota 86 Citizen Watch
 

Hello Guys,

Does anyone from you guys have this CITIZEN watch for the 86? I came across an online shop selling one of these badass watches and it caught my attention. Nontheless, i googled it and found out that there are only 860 units that was made and all are sold, so basically it's unlikly for me to get a new one.

Do any of you guys have one? I'm planning to negotiate with the seller if I can have the watch authenticated at a watch repair shop to check if it's legit or not.

Yes that one. That's the second generation of these watches. Nonetheless, based from my search, it's more expensive than the first generation. Hehe.

Mostly us old guys who like to know what time it is.

Depends if you like the look of it. I have seen at least 5 or 6 collaboration watches from citizen or other brand. I have a G shock look alike version from local dealer. Try Amazon Japan you will find plenty.

I'm surprised more people don't. It looks smarter than cramming a giant ass phone into absurdly skinny jeans and walking around with bulging pockets all day...

Good ol' days working for Kay, got meself a $600 Citizen for $150 at employee price.

Yep, I wear a $35 Timex (electric), that I've worn every day for the past 6 years. I've never had to replace the battery ....... is THAT spooky or what ..... :eyebulge:

YES, @Ultramaroon ..... it does run ........ YES, @Tcoat , I do need to know what time it is ....... the day of the week - not so much ....... the day of the month ...... don't care ..... ;)

Just be aware those watches have a torque-dip that cause them to be slow.

@GMIRA, were you able to get one already? hope you got it for a good price since they are still available in Citizen and saw it in an SM department store thou limited stocks (usually its the white and black that is still available, red is hard to come by) and they come with a car of the same color (so i hope you got that too if you bought it from someone else)
