Do you ever drive with rear seats down for more exhaust sound?

I recently had to put my rear seats down for some extra room and after I could hear the exhaust note so much better in the cabin with the windows up! I don't think I'll ever put them back up!:burnrubber:
If you don't believe me just give it a try and see the difference!

Any of you guys ever do this or is it just me?

I lined the trunk with sound deadening, so not much difference here.

I do this all the time! Love it, even on the highway

Ha, yep, been doing that a good bit. I also plugged the "sound tube" so now I hear exhaust more than odd engine noise.
Might not in a few days though, since I have a Nameless axle back on the way. :)

One of my few complaints about the BRZ is the road noise. You hear the tires and wind way more than the engine or exhaust.
I think I will eventually be putting sound deadening allllll over the car, at the expense of a few added lbs.

Any time I drop the seats to fit larger cargo in the trunk the increase in exhaust volume surprises me all over again. Always enjoyable.

My rear seats are no longer in the car. So yes. All the time.

My rear seats haven't been raised since 2014.

Will not help with wind noise. Welcome to the world of frameless windows. Every car I ever had with frameless windows had loads of wind noise. It is just the nature of the beast.

I've been doing this back and forth lately. On longer multi-hour trips it makes me hate my car.

Must not have loud enough exhaust then.

The sound deadening can make a huge difference if placed strategically. Rear wheel wells, trunk floor and doors make a pretty big difference.

I could givea try, where is the best place to buy it?

The lack of sound deadening is one of the many reasons I love the twins. I have no interior from the doors back and a full catless exhaust. <3
