BeSpoke? Canada?

So I have the Canadian version of the BeSpoke head unit.

Why can't I find the App to connect my iPhone???

When I plug my phone in it says "you need an application to use this device" and I search and search the app store to no avail.

Can anyone point me in the right direction???

I did try this BTW :search:

There is no Canadian Bespoke headunit? If you have that Headunit on a Canadian market car, its either a mistake at the factory or your dealer installed one after buying it seperately though Scion USA

We get a Pioneer system that is similar to the upgraded unit found in other Scions (and according to some, is a better unit)

You won't be able to download the app for the same reason they don't offer the head unit here - its for the US market only so with a Canadian market iPhone you can't see that app in the App store.
There are ways to download US applications (Google is your friend here) but they're not 'Apple approved'

Hmmm didn't know there was a difference between the US and CAD head unit. I guess I'll check the manual for iPhone connection trouble shooting.

I am 99% sure I have the Canadian unit.

Wasn't aware there was two different versions.. if there was, the only difference I can think of would be french language support - I would think it would work the same otherwise though - unless it's not pioneer?

Another difference would be the price. The US BeSpoke option will run you $800+, while the Canadian upgraded audio costs $515, and no, the Canadian upgraded audio is not BeSpoke.

There are two Canadian headunits. The base is the same as the US base.
The upgrade for us is a similar headunit to the ones availble in other Scion models as an upgrade, and some people argue, is a much better choice than the Bespoke. Its half the price and audio quality is going to be similar. The only feature it lacks is the "cloud nav" which is useless if you use an Android or Blackberry anyway.

I also prefer the dedicated buttons that our upgraded unit has.

Canada does not have BeSpoke. While the upgrade Audio headunit looks similar, it isn't.

So Ya,,, I went out for a drive at lunch and figured out how to connect my phone to the stereo through the cable and the blue tooth.

for the cable; I just had to plug it into the phone first then into the the car after. (for some reason plugging the cable into the car first and then into the phone it wouldn't register the phone)

The buletooth is a little more dificult to explain - but I got that figured out too.
