Custom 8" Fiberglass Sub Enclosure with Alpine Type R Subwoofer

SOLD

I have a custom made subwoofer enclosure made for an 8" subwoofer for sale. It was made by Speakerbox back in 2013. It fits perfectly in the right rear trunk corner. It has velcro on the underside to hold it in place. I corner hard and have never had it move on me, so no need to worry about movement. I am including my 8" Alpine SWR-8D2 Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer with grille that sounds great and fills in just the right amount of bass in the car. This will require you to have an amp since this is not a powered sub. Any amp with 500W RMS or less will work just fine. This was a great setup, but I am selling my FR-S, so this is no longer needed.

Asking $325 obo shipped in the lower 48 only... Alaska and Hawaii would be extra.

willing to ship without sub for cheaper price?? And whats internal air space on it?

Not really wanting to separate the two... I have no need to keep the sub. As for the internal volume, I don't quite recall since I bought it four years ago. It is plenty for a good 8" sub. As an alternative option, I also have a brand new Polk Audio MM840 8" Subwoofer available. PM me an offer if interested.

does the subwoofer connect directly to the stock HU, or will I need an aftermarket amp?

An amp is required. This is not a powered subwoofer. It is a 500w rms x 1000w peak subwoofer.

This might work for me... What amp did you have on it? I just pulled a SA8v3 in a ported box and Skar 2000w amp out of my car because it took up too much space.

I was running a 5 channel Alpine PDX-V9. 100W rms x4 and 500w rms x1. Great setup that i will be moving to my new car.
