Fortnite Issues
 

Post your Fortnite problems here so we can all share the pain with each other.
For me right now it's logging on and getting a hour and a half wait message, then shutting down the game and getting it pushed back up to two and a half hour wait.
This is also after the new 3.5 patch of "During wait periods, login will now remember your place in line if you quit out of the game and return."....which obviously is not working.

I hate campers

I just looked that up to see what it was ......:iono:

They said that their servers were down for maintenance ......:sigh:

my only problem with fortnite is no one posting in my trac times thread.. dissapointed

There's your the problem right there, TorontoNat. You can't even try to have fun because there's a stupid circle getting smaller drawing you in to the center to kill or be killed.
You fight your teammates for weapons/ammo and fight 20 min to get across the map and sometimes just die before pulling the trigger once. How many other games do you spend
5 min getting in, 20 waiting searching for weapons only to get killed by the first person you run into, possibly after you throw 200 bullets from a minigun at them first, and they
kill you with one shotgun shot to the head because they built a fortress over you.
Don't even need to get into people using a mouse in console to get a huge advantage. Server issues like once a week. Apparent lag issues now in a console which is pretty nuts.
Seemingly the only game that overheats the PS4. I mean I could go on but I am really surprised at how many people play and like this game. It's seldom that
a day goes by that I don't go to bed angry after playing that game. It really does suck the life out of you. Landing on a building with an enemy and scrambling to not die 5 seconds into the game.....
The game creates tension between you and your "teammates", puts a timer to create for stress, increases difficulty on finding items needed to accomplish "challenges", rewards selfishness,
makes helping others difficult, etc. I mean it seems as if they set out to take every problem with every video game and cram them into one package. A package that
is supposedly in beta for a year now that they charged for if you wanted to play the zombie thing and yet for a "free" game has made over a billion dollars for in game purchases that are just a skin
to make you look different. Ran into a 10 year old kid who had paid over $200 so far to get video game skins for his character. Yeah gaming has turned from having fun into "how much money can
they suck out of us and cause the most stress doing it". /rant

TBH I never played anything othr than forza until someone showed me fortnite recently and I gotta say it's mega fun. Love how it's not just about shooting shit.

Pretty amazing thing they did. Never been done before can't expect it to run super smoothly at first. Same with PokeGO.... Brand new thing never been done and everyone wants it to run like a N64 game... not gonna happen yet.

Since the update tho I land at the track everytime. do the lap see if I can get a time then drift around avoiding the sotrm until I get killed... got to 3rd palce only drifting the other day I dont evne pick up guns and shit just shield.

How is it brand new in any way.

This type og game has been around since at least 2012.

On that big a scale tho? I know all the aspects are not new but it's more than just the sum of its parts if that makes any sense. I unno anyway I'm by no means a gamer... My experience is limited to forza 4,6 and 7.
