Requesting Color Scheme help on Datsun
 

So a friend of mine recently bought a Datsun. This thing is stripped out for racing.. All of its interior is cut out. Racing seats installed.. Roll cage.. NOS yes really. And a tranny swap. Only thing that he has a problem with is the color now. He wants to repaint it but can't decide.


So what colors do you guys think will look good? Could a Prophotoshopper help with some epic paint job? :>

If possible... The hood be black or carbon fiber.

Tell your friend they have a nice ride. What engine do they have in it?

I personally have a weak spot for black cars. I think it could look good that way. Just depends if they want it to be a sleeper or more flashy. Sorry can't help with the photoshop part. :(

I'm not sure if this engine picture will help... but he did get some bad ass side mirrors! Lol

The engine is placed Longtitudinal instead of the traditional Lateral you see in the normal cars. He hasn't responded to me to what engine that is but I'm definitely sure its fast. O_O

Went to 110 mph / 177kmph at 4k rpm. :l

No. It's transversely mounted. Like on a FWD car. It looks like it's got coil on plug, and the intake plenum is hard to see off like that but it could be a VQ from an Altima or Maxima???

But why the hell would someone do that to (FWD conversion?) to a 510?

But it has a turbo! Lol. I'm trying to get him to reply to my Facebook posts but he takes awhile. A friend of his just told me all he knew was that it has a turbo. :>

I've changed the lip too ;) If the car is for the track, thne it needs to look like it means business, and you can't get much better than matte black for that ;)

WTF!!! a fwd 510!!! what a waste of such a nice car :(

That was a hard photoshop to even get it to this point haha... The photo isn't all that good in the first place, and adding color to a white car is hard, without losing all of the reflections! :(

Edit: I don't think its FWD. o_O I visit the car tomorrow so all the shots will be in. But could someone do an almost realistic color change on it? :P
