Why I love this thing

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, and this has nothing to do with having listened to initialD songs at work this afternoon, but I am freaking pumped to get in my car after work and drive the snot out of it ony way home.

I have never driven a car that drives like the twins. There are many faster and more capable cars, but for pure fun the experience is unmatched by any road car I've ever driven.
The S2000 and Cayman S are more capable, but also much more serious. They were made to go fast, and they don't tolerate a lot of messing around in the corners. The twins are different. They don't scare you like a Corvette or a 911. Even the Miata, which always gets a pass for most fun car ever, won't play in the corners the way this car does. This is the only car I've driven that I will get sideways in a corner without any fear. It just wants to play. It's just a tailhappy puppy that doesn't care about lap times or corner speeds or horsepower figures. You step of the accelerator and the engine howls to redline and there's that little virbation from the diff that tells you to start counter steering, and then it steps out the exact moment you expected it to. Before you can even process it you corrected and are heading steadily for the corner exit. No drama, no scare. This car is like an extension of the driver. That's a saying that has been attributed to a lot of cars, but the BRZ is the one that fits me like a glove. This thing is just so much fun. I traded my 400whp BMW for a Scooby with less than half the power, and I'd do it again every single time.

If you crash it, promise to update this thread.
Happy hooning!

The car is great, it was my replacement for the S2000 that I regrettably sold. The two best driving cars if you're not rich.

Technically I already have, uhh I mean it was spontaneous offroading!
Both times it was 1000 percent my fault, I got cocky but there was enough runoff both times that the car didn't suffer.

Woke admittedly biased I'd have to give the nod to the elise and miata with the brz close behind. The usability is a big deal though

That's very true. The reason I can even have the BRZ is being able to get my daughter in the backseat. No other car like this is this practical.
