How I drive my car.

I have a 2017 BRZ w/ performance pack (almost a ts). Unless you have driven this in the city or on a track, you have no idea how much fun this rig is. Handles like on rails. Holds the road like gorilla tape. Is it fast? If it was any faster, I would probably have wrapped myself around a telephone pole by now. One more thing, this buggy goes in and out of traffic like a go cart on steroids such that after 6 months of ownership, I have not even put on the radio yet. Too distracting. If I may quote my 14 year old grandson, “With a car like this, who needs an amusement park.”:party0030:

Thank you for sharing this very critical information.

I actually really like all the older gentlemen on this website sharing their thoughts about these cars. My dad has one too and he's 69.

Today I learned the hot new slang term "Buggy" to refer to a car, something I've never heard before.

never knew it was fun in the city...the more you know

Isn't being 68 in Florida like being 30 anyplace else?

JD001 04-05-2018 03:31 PM

Give a car a complex.. 'almost a TS'.

Average age in Florida is lower than NY and 9 other states. Oh the times, they are a changing. BTW at least I can name all 50 states. I defy anyone under 40 to name over 10 states, unless you are from Finland, gulp!

The real question is, would you give up your hair dye for a Klondike Bar?

OP, what part of Florida are you in? We have an Autocross this weekend with GCAC in SW Florida. (Lehigh Acre, Fort Myers area)

http://gulfcoastautocrossers.com

Saturday is the test n tune with a novice school available for the first half of the day and lots of seat time. Sunday is our competition day with courses that run about a mile long.

Handles on rails? On stock tires? Well, I've never known the stock primacys to be much better than driving on lunch trays. I keed.

I feel the same way after 5+ years of ownership. Congrats on your new car!

I did a double take when I first saw the "86" describing a car.........when I was much younger (I'm 78) the term 86 meant you had been kicked out of a place of business and couldn't return. See, some of us "old timers" still enjoy driving a fun buggy (car). :w00t:
