INVIDIA USA - import duties?
 

Just wondered if anyone had ordered an INVIDIA exhaust part from the US - did you get dinged for duties?
As I understand NAFTA, you shouldn't if the parts are made in the USA. I just can't tell for sure if their exhausts are all US made or not (I want the q300).

Everywhere else seems to point to Taiwan too, so no luck with NAFTA MIUSA.

There are only a handful of MIUSA exhausts, off the top of my head Nameless, JDL? I don't recall who else is, might be a few more.

Message them first and ask if they can state a lower value on the invoice. If they state $100 instead of $1000, that's a big difference

Thanks, yes looks like Taiwan. The exchange rate is making it so expensive right now, even before duties. :(

Can't imagine a biggish exporter is willing to fiddle the numbers too much, i imagine the penalties could be quite large. Gotta be worth asking though!

You'd be surprised. They don't care most of the time. It's not their money and they want the business.
