A huge market for cars like this is California, and ARB has announced that they plan to ban turbo's on gasoline passenger vehicles in the not so distant future.

EPA is considering revoking California's long standing waiver to elevate automotive standards above a federal level. You'll see taxes and penalties go thru the roof instead of mandates. 20k dollar penalty for turbo car or something stupid.

or they will just secede, fingers crossed...although they'd probably just be able to speed up the process of banning internal combustion, so still bad news for CA citizens, unless of course they get sidetracked in their efforts to tax air
