Clicking noise when turning with the light signal on.

Ive been noticing that my BRZ make a click when wide turning either to the left or the right with the turn signal light on. It is not to be confused with the normal click that happens automatically to turn off the turn signal light after you have made a wide turn. It's a very quiet click that you can't hear if you have the music on loud.
I'm not sure if this click noise has always been there because usually I drive with music on.

Car's totaled. Time for a part out. What headers you got, fam? $50 shipped to Denver?

Just pretend it is a BMW and do not use the turn signals.

steering cancelling cam/gear?

Possibly that's a sound coming from the (airbag) clock spring which is underneath the airbag, actually it's under the steering wheel itself. That would be a very faint sound if heard at all.
