(Ebay is a storefront. Just because something is sold on Ebay, doesnt mean its junk...)

I don't like to go cheap on parts that are vital to the car's performance or safety but that's just me. :iono: I would go with reputable sellers with good feedback. Not everything on eBay is crap but buy at your own risk

"Buy nice, not twice".

If ur not gonna do it right don't do it at all is my take on it.

Do you mean the cheap eBay knock offs?
If so, remember you get what you pay for.
You want to get those cheap HID headlamps from eBay for $50? Well, it make work for years or it may work for days. It's a gamble.

You want that cheap $80 lip, skirt, and diffuser combo? Go for it.
Honestly it all depends on a lot of factores and what you buy. It's your money, if it works out for you, then that's great. If not well you didn't lose out on much.

Correct, ebay is a store front. And most of our stuff on our cars are only made at limited places in Taiwan and shipped off and re branded so whats the difference? ect. Invidia, Dc sport, Ark Design, all get their piping and welds done by the same company. Its also the same as the expensive HIDs. Different companies mix and match ballasts and bulbs and up the pricing because of their warranties thats qualified by their quality control.

The difference between buying an HID on ebay that will last years vs days is knowing what brand you're buying and the craftsmanship in it. I used to buy ebay and legit parts at once, the only difference is I'm not going to buy some no name coilover on ebay but ill try out some led bulbs or no name car accessories.

Nice try, but everyone with half a brain knows that OP implied cheap knock offs, not oem stuff sold on ebay. There's being clever, and then there's this

You would think that, but ive seen people not purchase "legit" parts off ebay simply because its ebay and they think they are still getting an inferior product or knock off. What a lot of people don't realize is that eBay is not much different than amazon these days. (For example you can still buy a spec-D exhaust, knock-off tail lights, etc. all off of amazon, but Amazon doesnt have the stigma that "ebay" has)

That's because normally on Amazon, you are directed to buy new things. Ebay's thing for the longest time was that its a place for people to sell their stuff, ie a place to get second hand things. If someone can't tell the difference between a "legit seller" or "legit products" and "some guy selling things" on the internet, they shouldn't be buying things off of there
