Beginner Track Opportunities Alberta

I was looking to find information on either autocross schools or possibly a place to go simply pay to take laps around a track (I have heard race city??) in Alberta. Basically looking to get in on the ground floor of track activities in an undaunting setting, any advise is appreciated!!

Castrol Raceway used to have public events every couple of weeks, I don't know if there is autocross set up but they have drifting and the drag strip. Race city in Calgary is the only other place I know of. Castrol is supposed to be opening up a road course this fall the last I heard.

Race city was closed since last winter to make way for a landfill expansion. =(

There are sessions in Ft Macleod down south and at Red Deer. I think there's one left in Lethbridge as well. cscc.speedracer.ca
