Are you mechanically inclined?
 

After browsing for a few days I've noticed a lot of "theories" or "speculation" about certain parts or noises. For example the Perrin crank pulley and people freaking out about it not being balanced or a harmonic dampener.

My question is simple, I personally come from a background of building multiple high horsepower 4g63s, 1jz and Sr20 spec drift cars, but what about you guys(and gals)? Are you like the average reader on NASIOC that shuns FMIC and 18g turbo's cause 3 IT Techs have too much time at work and pretend to build their car on the internet with fake wheels and "stage 2" tunes? Or do you know what's going on and can't wait put a big custom FI solution in and beat the piss out of the car like me?
