Whirring sound on idle
 

This noise started a few weeks after I installed a CNT UEL header.
I can only hear it at idle and it disappears if I rev or drive the car.
Quite annoying when sitting at a traffic light :thumbdown:
what is this? It sounds like it's coming from the centre console. Exhaust leak?

Aliens.

I understand that several after market headers are thinner, thus allowing the sounds of the engine running to be louder. That's what it sounds like to me.

OR

It could be an exhaust leak .....:iono:

Sounds like a minor exhaust leak to me.
