Years 2012/2013 could be exiting for FR JDM sports cars
 

With the FT-86/216a aiming for a 2012 release, rumors of a possible RX-7 reincarnation with a rotary turbo, possible refresh to the Genesis Coupe... I'm a car guy at heart, so it is great to see a lot of companies getting off their butts and coming out with some exciting cars. :party0030:

I think if Toyota can get this car to market as has been rumored, it will force others to respond. Competition is a good thing.

Genesis isn't JDM lol, but yea this is good, hopefully Nissan/Honda(no beaks, no boxy american styling please) throw something in to spice up the market.

I think you misread the title/I wasn't clear enough. Obviously the GC is Korean. I was just referring to the other JDM manufacturers as potentially coming out with some exciting FR cars in the next 1-2 years.

Yeah I would love to see an NSX but it would be out of my price range. I remember hearing it would be a V10. Then a V6 turbo. Now isn't it rumored to be a hybrid of some sorts and to be priced around a GTR?

I'm not sure about the hybrid, but it would probably be around $100k to compete with the GT-R.

At $150k I'd be waiting for lotus's new cars to come out. Man I wish I had the money to afford the elite when it comes out.

Yeah the info I have heard about the Elite sounds very promising, even if it is going to be a heavy car.

a new turboed Rotary would be the only thing stopping me from getting the ft86
