3) Buying it used. I'm done buying cars new--knowing that it depreciates as soon as I drive it off the lot is depressing. I'm going to buy a barely used version that a granny bought (you surprisingly find those kinds of people even with something like this).

Wouldn't it be tough to find a manual trans from a retired folk? lol

Nah, they are apparently pretty big Scion fans too. Still waiting to see TRD denture holders. :D

speaking of special editions...

anyone else notice that the 30th anniversary of AE-86 is 1 year shy of the FT86 release date?

FT-86 30th anniversary edition in 2013 sounds possible but not for the North American Market.

Aye. I can only see people being baffled by how a brand new Scion has a 30th anniversary edition. :bellyroll:

It's all up to what name it come under. If it's new name (like FR-S) all around the world then prob not. If they used name that associate w older cars (86, Celica & etc) in other part of the world, there's is a possibility for US too

I've seen a barely used 350Z owned by a granny with a manual tranny (hey that rhymes), uncommon, but it happens =)
