ECU code P0117 after a drift event

So I had a small drift event yesterday... drifted for around 30-45 minutes and bounced off the limiter a couple of times.

Anyway I noticed that my CEL came on so I took out my OFT and read the code.

I got P0117, and this code has to do with the coolant temp sensor.

Honestly I have never gotten this code before and I don’t really know where to go from here? Has anyone had this before?

Nope, never got that code.

:slap: ...... quit drifting, your car don't like it......;)

I'd suggest you just erase the code and see if it comes back.

I wonder if maybe you are either low in coolant or have a bubble in the system and the lateral G's exposed the coolant temp sensor to the air pocket? Dunno, just a guess. Do what Humfrz said. Watch your temps and if it comes back, then you got some digging to do! Hopefully it wont.
