First post on here. Just got my new wheels and tires installed on my 2013 Asphalt FR-S. They are Avid.1 AV-30 in gunmetal, 18x8.5 +35 offset. Tires are Federal 595-SS, 245/40/18. They are a bigger sidewall than I know a lot of guys prefer but since it's my daily I wanted plenty of rubber. No rubbing/clearance issues at all so far. Stock suspension for now. I'm not sure what the best option for lowering the car would be with this setup, I can't really do $1,000 for coils so I'm leaving it as-is for now.

First step of many for transforming this car. Next steps will be the exhaust (holy S*** the stock exhaust looks small now), HT Autos body kit, new spoiler and new heads/tails.

That looks great!

I had these in 18x8.5 FRONT & 18.9.5 REAR. I sold them because they felt so heavy on the car and I also had cheap stretched tires on them.

I haven't really noticed a drag in performance with them on. Maybe slightly slower on acceleration, but barely enough to notice. I can definitely feel the difference with more rubber under the car, definitely. But it doesn't feel sluggish by any means.

Cool color! Looks nice. It'll look even nicer when you lower it and throw an exhaust on. And also remove that dealer advertisement sticker while you're at it.

I think you'd probably be able to lower on RCE Yellows w/o issue.
