Series.Yellow Meet Pothole.
GF hit a pothole, GA I-75 is just smooth like that, and damaged her stock wheel on the S.y. Anyone know what the correct part number is for a new stocker ? No local wheel repair shop says they can adequately match the color.
Part number I've found are: 28111CA100 - which is Gun metallic 17x7.5 +48 28111CA090 - which is SP BLACK HIGHLUSTER 17x7.5 +48 28111CA070 - which is Gun metallic 17x7 +48 I ordered a *090, but the finish doesn't match. Essentially, a darker Gunmetal colored wheel. It's not S.y. black at all. Anybody know any other part numbers out there ? I tried searching out by vin online. Can't find any. |
Did you try giving a dealer your VIN and asking for a part number? I think that is the best bet for a limited edition model.

The one you bought should be black for the Series.Yellow.
Do you have pictures comparing the two colors for the 28111CA090 part number? DISK WHEEL-ALUMINIUM Part Number: 28111CA090 17X7.5J OFF48 SP BLACK HIGHLUSTER DISK WHEEL-ALUMINIUM Part Number: 28111CA100 17X7.5J OFF48 GUNMETALLIC |

So I ordered the right part number, maybe I just got lucky and ended up with the wrong wheel. The headache continues, tire shop scratch every other wheel when mounting the PS4s today. :happyanim:

That definitely looks like the Gunmetallic 28111CA100 wheel. Should return it and have them look into it. There must've been a mix up.

Working with the parts department, we ordered the other opposing wheel in the catalog. 28111CA100 arrived in gloss black, funny.

Glad you found the corrrect PN for that wheel btw |
Can you PM me and clarify which part number you ordered that turned up as grey and which part number you ordered that turned up as black? I'll get that info over to who can fix that in our system.

Subaru of Kennesaw did it without damaging anything visible. |

I already avoid Firestone & Pep Boys like the plague, from past experiences. I've also found dealerships to be very good at not scratching anything on your car (unless you get a car wash) during any kind of service. They just never have the best deals when it comes to rims/tires. |
