Help with oil sandwich plate

I just noticed some oil sitting in the sandwich adapter plate I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? It’s at the bottom of the plate where the original oil filter goes, I’ll try cleaning it and see if it keeps seeping out from there I tried uploading a picture but it’s not working at the moment so I will when I can get around to it

You need to figure out if it's coming from the fittings or the o-ring of the plate. Typically either tightening the plate down or tightening the fittings will solve the issue.

Yep, clean it up, tighten everything, run it for a while ...... come back.

Have you tried taking a bit of oil and running it along the bottom of the sandwich plate, sort of like what you would do with an oil filter to create a good seal.

Another way I've seen this issue resolved is torquing things down to the correct specs.

If either of those don't work the bottom of the sandwich plate may not be completely flat, causing the accumulation of oil at the bottom. If that's the case, some machining will be needed.
