p0441 cel code
 
so i bought my 2013 frs couple days ago and it came with the p0441 code, the dealer told me it was the gas cap loose so they reset it and gave the car to me, ive driven it and reset the code after purchasing a new gas cap but the code keeps coming up. has anybody had this happened before? where should i start looking?

Unless you got a good fuel cap (not a cheap-o that they sell at parts stores), you probably have a bad fuel cap ON TOP OF the original Evap system issue.

i purchased the one from napa which apparently is good. i also had the p0455 code which went away after the new gas cap. should i get a new one from the dealership?

The dealership sold you a car with a CEL? Take it back to them

yeah they said they re gonna look into it. but i thought if i could fix it myself i rather do it. they ll probably gonna keep me back and forth and i dont have the time..
