Hey guys! I got my car brand new in April of 2016 and have been enjoying the hell out of this car. It's a 2016 Subaru BRZ Limited AT. Such a fun car and a great community to be a part of :D

Originally seeing the overall cost of $400(ish) to purchase the OEM BRZ tS front and rear trim moldings, I attempted to find an alternative. I ended up going with the front and rear pinstripes from FT86speedfactory. Overall cost was about $42 not including shipping.

A few things to note:
- The front is not a molding and is simply just a precut vinyl, just like the rear
- The color is not the same as the OEM tS (of course), more of a red you would get from a reflective tape

My rear install is slightly off, so in the future I will possibly attempt to redo the installation. Luckily they send you 2 of each, which definitely helped since I messed up on the rear the first time.

Thanks for the review on the pinstripes..I saw them pop up on my ig feed and was wondering when someone would grab a set

Just updating anyone that was following my build journal at all:

This car was unfortunately deemed a total loss due to an accident (other person was at fault). I will be creating a new thread on my new car and will explain my entire story of what happened and how I got to getting my new car. I'll be editing this post with a link just in case! :)
