Do you have a date in mind as I would like to attend as well.

- Sunday April 29th (9am - 5pm) - Saturday June 9th (9am - 5pm) - Saturday July 7th (9am - 5pm) The deal is not a FT86club day but an FT86club deal. Sorry if I wasn't clear! Kev |
I'm in. What date would you guys like to go?
April of June would be my preference. |
I would probably prefer June date. My wife is due with our 2nd baby in Aug so July is getting close. Got to get that track day before the baby crap happens lol.
I attended PADA last July and thoroughly enjoyed the day. I think if we get a decent group going it would be nice to bunch up newer 86 people together. It was my first time out there and while i was doing apparently great it was still a bit intimidating with much more powerful cars or more experienced people that go harder. Although by end of day you get used to it. Plus the crowd was mature and well behaved. PADA also did a great job controlling things. With diff group it could be different. 350 is a good deal that i also got as Christmas special last time. Lunch was awesome too and overall it felt like i got a couple hours worth of track time and most importantly instructors. I had seat time with Jay and Colin and both have their own style and thoughts, so that is cool that you get some rotation. By end of day u will be exhausted and i even felt like i cant go on any more as sharp because im mentally cooked. Thomas with his bmw is the guy to watch for as he goes serious haha Also this is going to be one of the best few hundred dollars spent with this car ever (the other one is proper alignment). If u think its pricey, consider skipping ur next fluff mod, rip off that spoiler or jdm side marker, sell it and go (no offense to the good cosmetic looks crowd i love the eye candy just fine too) |

I'll let you drive mine, but be warned, it's an AT :P |
I'd be interested. I was going to try an 86drive day, but an instructor course may be more my thing.

Lol, you'd do that for a person you've never met :confused0068: , and AT ain't that big a deal, driving is what matters. |

You're not expected to drive at the car's limits but safely approach your own. No one wants anyone to crash. The counter point to the price tag is, if you don't learn how to take the car to your limits, chances are you will crash if you find that limit when you're in a bad situation in real life. That's far more expensive than the price of the course. That being said, most of the other schools go for similar prices (see my track school review thread) so we're not out pricing ourselves either. You will also get perks like JRP discount cards and we do keep track of who shows up to our courses so you can come back out to PADA lapping days and we can continue your development. |
