Finally upgraded from stock tires to 225 MPS4S!
Loving my decision so far, but I want to get some spacers for a little more umph. Does anyone have a picture of 225 tires with spacers? Really appreciated, thank you!

225 Wheels? 225 is a tire size.

If it's flush looks you are after, then how much they are spaced outside might be changed by both offset and spacers. Specify what offset/size wheels you have and how much further spaced out you want to find out looks of.

17x7 +48 OEM wheels use a 20-25mm front spacer and a 25-30mm rear spacer to be flush. The term "Flush" is subjective. What some consider flush, others would say pokes a little. You will have to make up your mind what "flush" is. |

Please don't put 20-30mm spacers on your car. That's a whole lot of weight just to look "flush"

A spacer will add under 2lb to each corner and its very close to the axis of spin so you won't notice anything..
|
Actually one may notice change like heavier steering due changed scrub radius. Or if this had been FWD car, increased torque steer.
|
If you look up the specs the 225/45R17 PS4S are pretty heavy compared to stock. Just in tire alone he's adding a bit over 6lbs in weight to each corner. Add in spacers and you're really going in the other direction as far as adding performance....if you care for those sort of small improvements.

Are you?
1. Planning to race your car? 2. Planning on setting a land speed record? 3. Planning to set new race track lap times? If the answers are 'no' to the above then I think making your car look good in your eyes does no harm. Adding a small amount of weight will not dent your car's performance. Tyres, wheels, brake disk weights will vary as there are tolerances that need to be remembered. My first mod was dropping the car and adding 20mm spacers up front, 25mm at the back. I love the look.. |

Stock height 15mm/20mm or 20/25 spacer F/R would be reasonable, 20/25 might have some poke. Keep in mind 15mm you will have to extend your lugs, the 20mm spacer can get away with an adapter style bolt on. |
