Manual ECU Question

I'm going to being doing a manual transmission swap to my FRS soon.

I'm going to be getting a manual ecu, and since I don't have anything performance mods that necessarily need a tune, can I just reset the manual ECU into this swap? Or will getting a tune be necessary to have the car run properly?

the ecu manual and auto are all same hardware. you will hoever need to flash in the correct manual tune to suit your car you dont need a new ecu just correct ecu firmware.

If you do swap ecu you will need to sync it into security
