Seat installation process?

Howdy,

I'm doing preparatory research for swapping the seats out. I'm looking at putting in a T2 carbon fiber seat from Tecnocraft, and I've seen it mentioned here a few times. Their website doesn't really document the install process though, and I've never installed racing buckets in a car so I'm a bit new to all of this. Is the mounting hardware/rails/etc universal? E.g. does a Sparco, or Recaro, or Tecnocraft all basically require the exact same seat rails + side mounts to install? If so, is there any recommendations from the group on what the lightest weight seat mounting hardware kit is?

Thanks!

Installing racing seats is pretty straight forward for all cars and racing seats. Just look up racing seat install on brz/frs on youtube and there are some pretty good ones. as for the lightweight brackets im not sure whats out there. Considering the brackets are what actually hold your seat in place to the car i wouldn't mind going heavier on those. But the actual install is easy

I'd rather look for brackets that let position seat as low as possible, no matter the weight.
