Painting diffuser/trim pieces

has anyone painted their stock "diffuser"? i am wondering what it would look like paint matched on raven black. i know it would take some time and effort to sand and smooth out the pattern but i think it has potential to look nice for raven. also what about having the grill painted a gloss black and the "fog" light bezels? is there anyway to darken up where the crash bar is as well? like very top of the grill its kinda off whiteish

maybe just try plastidip gloss black to get a closer idea. the texture will be there still but itll be much cheaper than full on doing it and not liking it after :iono:

yeah thats true, i was just hoping someone else tired or had done it lol. i think gloss black would have looked so much better on all colors instead of the grey dull color they chose

I paited mine. Make sure to clean the suface properly, use adheasion promotor on the plastic parts, spray your color, and then some clear. Done. easy!

FYI. plastidip is a bitch to get off tbe mesh when it starts to peel.

I cut out the mesh by hand. I used a heat gun and razor blade.
