Super bright leds fog light kit
Anyone using these? thoughts?
LED Headlight Kit - PSX24W LED Fanless Headlight Conversion Kit with Compact Heat Sink Part Number: PSX24W-HLV4 https://www.superbrightleds.com/more.../#tab/Overview https://d114hh0cykhyb0.cloudfront.ne...jpg&w=390&zc=2 |
I used a night eye brand ..... the problem is with the high beams are mega powerful. Dangerous to turn on at night, did once to test them out and a boy 40m up the road shouted "HAY rever" - just bare in mind that they will scatter in full circle.
For the Low beams lucky I have a electronic switch that allows me to adjust the angle of the direction of the beam as I had to point it lower than before. Makes driving much more enjoyable and you can see a lot more, just only use the high beams in a emergency or when your own your own :) |
These are actually fog light leds, the term "headlight" in this case is inaccurate, so the is no highbeam.

OK, here is the Super Bright LED fog light, compared to the 5 year old incandescent.

Is it brighter? Yes. Can same be answered if it won't dangerously blind oncoming traffic? Or such minor details no-one cares about these days?

First drive this morning. Fog light beam pattern looks much like oem, but brighter. The ground in front of the car was lit up nicely. With the led's emulating an incandescent, that is what I expected. Now to get some fog, so I can see how they work doing their actual job.
