Well personally I feel that politically the Magna Carta was a bad call even if it worked out ok.

It only worked out because language was invented.

I gotta re-read the series, it's been about a decade or so since I first read it... Among the many other things I need to read :(

The movie is fun, absolutely AMAZING casting, but not nearly as rich as the books are.

All 5 in the trilogy? What about "Zaphod Beeblebrox Plays it Safe"?

I suppose it is fitting I use a lot of references at work doing write-ups... Working for a travel company and all...

I never found an adequate distraction... I keep trying too.

Well there was a time back before the internet when I would read a good sized book ever two weeks or so. I have read all of the Dragon riders of Pern books (16 books) a minimum of 6 times each and the L Ron Hubbard Mission Earth series (10) at least 5. There are probably several hundred other short series or trilogies I have read at least twice. The internet ruined and now I can take months to read a book.

I hear that... though it's weeks instead of days for me. Most books I've purchased were because I wanted to read it again. I try to take a half hour before going to sleep to let the cat curl up in my lap while I read. The internet gets boring.

The New movie with Mos Def is hilarious. I highly suggest it.

I read the books too, along with most of piers anthony, ann mccaffery, and any other fantasy/scifi books i could get my hands on.

The Battle Circle trilogy is one of my multiple reads.

I've read and have a library of about 3000 books.

I read the first 18 star wars books after ROTJ... The first three were much better than the movies so far. I kept hoping to see Mara Jade.

I've read the 13 or 14? books of the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. I reread the entire series each time before a new book came out after 7 for two reasons. One, it had always been too long till the next book came out and two, I loved to see how I've grown by rereading books I haven't read for several years and seeing how my perspective has changed. (I had started reading it when I was 19 and only just finished it when the last book came out a few years ago. probably when I was around 40) so at least twenty years to finish the series because Jordan took too long to finish, in fact the last two books, which was supposed to be one, had to be finished by another writer.

Jaden

Battlefield earth is one of the best books and worst book to movie adaptations of all time.

p.s. my sci-fi fantasy library is larger than most book stores.
