I've read and have a library of about 3000 books.

I have read all of the Dragon riders of Pern books (16 books) a minimum of 6 times each and the L Ron Hubbard Mission Earth series (10) at least 5. There are probably several hundred other short series or trilogies I have read at least twice. The internet ruined and now I can take months to read a book.

I read the first 18 star wars books after ROTJ... The first three were much better than the movies so far. I kept hoping to see Mara Jade.
I've read the 13 or 14? books of the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. I reread the entire series each time before a new book came out after 7 for two reasons. One, it had always been too long till the next book came out and two, I loved to see how I've grown by rereading books I haven't read for several years and seeing how my perspective has changed. (I had started reading it when I was 19 and only just finished it when the last book came out a few years ago. probably when I was around 40) so at least twenty years to finish the series because Jordan took too long to finish, in fact the last two books, which was supposed to be one, had to be finished by another writer.

Battlefield earth is one of the best books and worst book to movie adaptations of all time.
p.s. my sci-fi fantasy library is larger than most book stores.
