Will the stock TPMS work with Enkei Kojins or will I need to buy aftermarket?
As the title suggests, I'm wondering if the stock TPMS will be alright in the Enkei Kojins. I'm planning on picking up two 18x8.5 +45 front and two 18x9.5 +45 rear.

I currently have a staggered setup (mainly because I love the look) and did not notice too much difference when autoxing compared to the stock ones (our courses are pretty low speed though). |
I'm not sure how much difference staggered vs square makes, unless you're driving at the limit all the time.
Even when I was pushing my car 8/10 on 17x9 square and the person behind me was on staggered 18s, he was hanging right with me - he didn't seem to have any negative handling effects. Shrug. |
Clipdat: there are two ways approaching limit. Pushing more, or reducing limit. Imho in wet or in winter extra understeer might get way more noticeable, even in never pushed daily driven only car. And if this car was bought/chosen for good handling, it might be a bit unwise to make it worse even if practicality bits like, eg. ability to even out wear with rotation or simpler to get replacements for damaged single tire/wheel or easier to find buyers for square set if selling in future, doesn't matter.

ichitaka05: but if many wishes reduce understeer vs that of stock, then going staggered/other way, reduces available adjustment ranges, how much one can do that, or require extra parts/spendings. For example, not just cheap camberbolts, but also camberplates, rollbars, non-stock springs/dampers and so on .. imho better not do mistake in first place, then spending even more to fix it.

I don't drive aggressively enough to get my car to understeer with my 225 245 stagger. And lately, I have been trying. I had 4 different square set-up before going staggered. It's really not that different.

car handling aside, you would be limited in rotating your tires in doing side to side vs rotating between all 4 corners.
