18x10.5 +50 (rear) Will it fit?
Hi! I want to maximize the width of my rear wheels (mainly for cosmetics) on the stock body and at the same time keeping the current stance (no poke or extra camber).
Currently the wheels are 18x9.5 +38 with 255/35. I took some measurements and there is a 28mm clearance between the rim and the strut. So, if I get them widened by 1" (25mm) there should still be 3mm of clearance (minimum recommended) resulting in 18x10.5 +50. I want to keep this wheel model, which I love, and the closest spec from Work is 18x10.5+30 (20mm poke). Is there anything else that I have to keep into account before proceeding? Thank you all! https://i.imgur.com/fklGA6X.jpg |

This thread has 19x10.5 +32 rear wheels with 235 /30 tires at -2.8 camber. 19 is bigger, but the poke camber will look the same as 18s.
a little pull on the rears goes along way. there is s guy with 275/40/17 rears. post 110 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=64040&page=8 19x10.5 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23831 |
Thank you Leonardo! I mainly want to know if I'm going to have fitment problems with my proposed setup 18x10.5 +50, especially with inner clearance.

This guy has stock struts, springs, and lca and his 19x10+50 fits. Coilovers would give you enough room for 18x10.5 +50 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=61628&page=2 You are welcome! |
Thank you for the link! Seems like this is going to work just fine! :happyanim:
