Woah I actually gathered a meet

After 7 months of hunting around I managed to gather 3 other local owners here in Redding, CA for a meet, the guys in Sac and the Bay Area have it good with their ever-growing members compared to this tiny area haha. Here's some photos of our "huge meet." Hopefully I can manage to bring them to one of the official Norcal meets sometime this year if they're down for the 4 hour drive there.

Some nice photos there. The wing on the red one almost blends into the background though, at first I only noticed it in the car wash photo and thought it was just some object in the background not attached to the car. Then I looked closer at all the photos and could see it better.

lol yeah i had a hard time figuring out if the red one had a big wing or not

Well, technically, you guys ARE the official NorCal group lol I'd consider the bay area and Sac more "South NorCal" or "North CenCal"

Shush, with that nonsense, we don't want to change our name... :paddle:

Great shots @Street_Shark ... if you're going to come down for a meet this year it should probably be the big Summer Kickoff meet which is usually in June... that is our biggest annual meet and totally worth coming out to. :)

I'll have to keep an eye out for the June meet. I'm planning on doing a massive road trip in June and gonna be stopping in the Bay for a few days before heading back up to Portland.

Yeah I can easily see why you both thought that lol. Looks a lot better in person that's for sure. That wing was originally on the Galaxy Blue Brz in the photo set but he upgraded to a carbon fiber trunk with a built in duckbill style wing that flows a lot nicer with his car if I must say so myself.

Ah yes the 2013 Galaxy Blue, at first I thought it was a "meh" color but after seeing it up close I can see why it's a loved color, shame they only made it for 2013 though, slightly reminds me of Toyota's "carbon blue" they used on their 7th gen celicas, the sunlight has to hit it just right for you to see it's true form. And yes! That is a 2015 Series Blue, we have three of them locally here, all WRB! (Have yet to see a white one in person).

You've definitely got a point there! But when it comes to actual meetups and the amount of local twin owners here we fall extremely short =/
Hell, in general a "large" car meet here is one where we actually surpass 10 cars and at that point it's usually a group of civics with six different colors bragging about who they're going to "wax" tonight on the streets.

Thank you! I appreciate the information, I'd love to make it out to something like that, i'll be sure to be free around that time

Don't know how the roads are in Redding, but that absolutely reminds me of the Modesto car scene
