The beginning of creating wrapped parts for my car. I don't know why scion made it 2 pieces, but it's not anymore.

Pure guess, but I would say its so the radio surround would be different from the remaining pieces, making it less expensive for them to vary the size of the radio.

This thought just occurred to me, but is the size of the opening in the BRZ the same as the FR-S? If not (if Subaru doesn't use a Toyota-wide radio) we may have the start of a solution to the gap/fitment issue with aftermarket radios. (I know, wishful thinking)

Mine is now one piece as well, but I did leather w/ red stitching(required sanding). Should have some pictures up tomorrow.
