Car wont start - steering lock?

Hi guys, i turned my wheel all the way in both directions to gain fender access and adjust my foglamps. Now the car wont start, battery is strong, lights and all working flawlessly, starter click is loud and responsive. It just wont start. Just keeps going to ON/ACC I tried no E break, jiggling the wheel i do feel the lock disengage but it just doesnt start. Any tips on how to do this? Car is an AT. Should i “give it a rest” and just try again later?

Lights mean nothing as far as battery strength goes. If your starter is clicking but not spinning then you ware probably going to need to boost it.

Thats strange considering it started effortlessly, when turned to once side, switched sides, then in ten minutes wouldnt start again. It does keep clicking (solenoid) if i hold the push start button for about 2-3 clicks but it doesnt crank at all and ends up in ON, its as if something stops it

Low voltage is what is stopping it. The click you hear is the solenoid engaging the starter. There is enough juice for that but not enough for the starter to spin the flywheel. If you had the lights on all that time it would be enough to drop it just to the threshold. Probably just on the edge of cranking. Let it sit a bit and see if that helps but odds are you will need to boost it.

Thanks Tcoat! Checked the voltage and it was giving 13.8-14 which should be enough.. but for some reason still wouldnt start. Gave it 24 volts and it started.. so I just went to the store to replace my battery with a bigger size 26L, CCA600 vs the stock Panasonic. Fits the battery tray perfectly now!
