Aftermarket Head unit Supporting mods
 

Hi everyone,

Since it looks like a lot of the information for getting supporting accessories to install an aftermarket head unit is scattered, I have decided to compile everything in this idea list on amazon. [Also for my benefit since I just bought an aftermarket head unit and decided to share the notes] Please take a look:

Here's a brief explanation of what they are:
Drok converter - for your oem back up camera since you need to convert from 12v to 6v

AX-TOY28SWC Steering Wheel - for your steering wheel control as well as your AUX

Metra 40-LX11 Antenna - this is for your radio

AXXESS AX-TOYUSB - this is for your USB

iDatalink Maestro - this is for your stock GPS antenna and Sirius XM. Note if your car doesn't come with GPS, you will have to use the aftermarket GPS that your aftermarket head unit comes with. In that case, you don't need to get this cable

Metra 95-8202 - This is the dash kit so you can mount your head unit to the stock location
