Touch my Honda please.
Hey guys, my name is Tym and I drive a 240whp NA 98 Honda Civic coupe as my race car. The the frs/brz is the first car besides the Honda crz, that has gotten me excited.... Insanely excited. I realize that you guys have a new member area. However, there are two of them and I have not decided whether I am an frs guy or a brz guy. Either way the community shouldn't be divided as such.
I have owned my Civic for over 10 years now, and have changed out virtually everything over the years. I have multiple coilovers, motors, cam packages, exhausts setups, brake setups.....ect. For example; I have owned over 7 of the best B series headers ever made, just to see what was and is actually the best (dyno tests). My car finally sits in its current setup as a more permanent setup, as I have really reached near perfection. I have tried everything to get the most out of the B series engine and EK chassis. I believe I have finally found that bliss. As of last year I had the highest wheel Hp made out of a completely oem, NA 1.8 B series block. Than a close friend to my tuner squeezed out about 250whp out of the same setup with a 2mm larger TB, larger injectors, and a slight chopping of the same intake manifold I have used. I have already adapted these mods and will retune soon. For now the car is sitting at the shop hiding. I cannot possibly list every mod, as everything has been replaced but some of the bolts. I see a lot of Honda OG screen names here and a few othe friends here. I feel that I have a lot to offer this community in terms of experience and I can't wait to pick up my he tf86/brz. |

I started out with a 91 Prelude, loved that car. Moved onto a 2003 Civic Si, and now the FR-S. I still love 90s Hondas though. Especially love the clean/subtle look you went with:thumbsup: |
clean civic, thing must haul!
|
That must be a blast to drive.
I started in an 88 Civic hatch, then went to a 94 Prelude VTEC, then to an 03 CL Type S (still have it). There was also a 90 Civic hatch that I still have, its supposed to be a project but I doubt thats ever going to see the light of day :( |
welcome from an ol skool Honda owner. :happy0180:
