ACE A-350 Header - Merry Christmas to me!

Picked up an early Christmas gift from the crew at CounterSpace Garage. An ACE A350 header with the CSG special ceramic coating (inside and out). Can't wait to get this bad boy installed and on the dyno after the tune!

Like your videos m80. Those ace headers seem to be the cream of the crop. Interested to see the gains with the special tune when compared with your previous setup. My car is my daily so I'll be sticking with JDL uel headers and an OFT as that seems to be best bang for buck.

Jealous of your wrenching skills maybe one day I'll be good too. I've replaced exhaust pipes and lights but coilovers? Nope lol

Keep 'er goin' as they say

justinco: check if you won't need new unworn engine mounts (or maybe stiffer aftermarket ones). IIRC some header rubbing was possible with 350 with stock worn mounts.

Meh just do it I say - coilovers are easy. If you can do exhaust you can do coilovers :)

I can vouch for this. They aren't hard, IMO, just time consuming is all.

Yeah I've read about a raised spot on the aluminum belly pan that rubs in some circumstances on some 350's. I went with the cs400 with sti engine and trans mounts and haven't experienced any install or rubbing issues.

Just watched this last night. Now waiting for the install vid. :-)

Proud owner of ACE products here and Subscriber of your YouTube channel. Just wanted to say congrats and you will love it. I am sponsored by ACE and run their entire catalog on my NA BRZ build. So glad you chose them and CSG to work with. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Yep JDL and OFT is great bang for the buck. I ran similar for a long time.

Wrenching isn't all that hard, just gotta do it and learn :)

The car is a 2017 with only 7k miles, should be ok but we will see. I think someone else mentioned you may have to bend/dent the undertray so it doesn't rub.

Awesome, thanks! Looking forward to getting this thing installed for sure.

I was surprised to find out it was just a video of a guy opening a box.

Happy New year everyone! Hoping to get the ACE header installed soon and back to the dyno. I also finally got my Perrin inlet tube specific to the 2017 cars so my engine bolt-ons for 2018 are nearly complete.

Can't wait for the next video! I've watched them all! :)

Interested to see what this sounds like. While I am all for Min/Max... but I have yet to hear an EL system I wanted.

Thanks for letting us vicariously live the life of a Nationally Prepped STX BRZ! :)

Are you gonna dyno the car with the same tune but different headers or headers and custom tune all in once? Tbh I really want to see a relatively objective comparison.
