Gulf GT86 + OFT = Worthless?

I have a 2013 GT-86, CAL: 700J.
A year ago I bought OFT and flashed succesfully v2.076 maps.

A tuner tried to look at the tables and lots of definitions are missing and in short words, missing lots of features from USDM versions.

Now I see post talking about v3 maps only for USDM.

So? is there something I can do about? or just sell OFT and go Ecutek?

The V3 tunes require top quality fuel. If you don't have good fuel V3 maps will not work for you.
you could get the V3 tunes and transfer across the tables to your calid

your oft tune is likely based on the ZA1JA01J rom

alternatively you could likely flash an ZA1JA01G rom from Australian region it has all the launch and flat foot shift mods.

you would need to alter the calibration id to get oft to load but if you have tactrix you could flash that model rom.

just keep a copy of your original rom to flash back if you run into any issues with the different calid.

Yeah, the definitions that Openflash has on the website are outdated. There are better ones with more tables. Haven't looked at the v3 stuff yet. Let me see if I can find them again...

Edit:. Maybe you can get what you need here. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=411

Thanks to @Kodename47

Double edit. Doesn't look like he has your defs there. Sorry

Last I heard we were still waiting to be able to read MAF voltage, DAM, and other super important things on the 2017....been telling people an update is a few weeks out since mid-Summer. That was a few weeks ago, but they just seem to always have an incomplete product. Go Ecutek, you won't regret it.

Hi guys— for those who don’t know, my wife and I are about to have our first child. Had some false labor episodes last week which had us running unnecessarily to the hospital only to come home empty-handed (and full-wombed) 🙂. Baby is a week late so the doctors will be inducing labor tomorrow. Once that happens I’m not sure how long I will be out of the office. But I’m about 1 day behind on emails as of now but should be fully caught up by tonight. But pls don’t expect quick response times during the next few day as I’m probably going to have my hands full! :)
It'll be a long while until those v3 tunes are released.

I agree with this and i hope @Shiv@Openflash can give us an answer. I dont feel any gains from stage 1 to stage 2 with headers .

If your on 95 ron fuel you wont be avle to run much more than about 21-23 ignition advance at higher rpm full load, its kist going to knock. Your going to need a custom tune for that fuel . Standard oft tunes run 25-28 degrees
