Wow, comparing the pics from GReddy's website to the EMC ones above, it's literally the same kit. I wonder what caused the sudden push for ITB sales in the US then.

I'd guess it's the sudden availability of a part they were all waiting on. Or maybe they needed to iron out some details with the tune/making it drive right.

Usually it's just being able to hit a target price point based on the cost/MOQ that the factory provided. In order to retain your rights to the mold and/or cost, you have to buy a certain volume in a given timeframe.

It happens a lot with wheels that are branded as one type of wheel but made by someone else. You have to make back your initial mold fee, usually over $10-15k if cast.

Would love to see this made out of carbon fiber. That would be pretty cool.

A baseline size and length that works well with the stock redline on this engine would be nice.

The EMC prototype in the video I linked already shows velocity stacks being used. I'm fairly certain if this reuses AE111 throttle bodies then you can use whatever velocity stacks that bolt to that throttle body. Several companies have come up with those already, no need for Greddy to reengineer something that is 20 years old at this point.

Interesting Greddy say they use AE111 Throttle bodies so its just a matter of Purchasing a Velocity stacks that bolt up, and tuning with ECUTek Speed density im assuming.
