BRZ MY17+ front lip options?
Hey guys just wanted to see if anyone knows of MY17+ BRZ front lips. I already know of the STI lip and other replicas. Have they made any besides those? And yes I already googled it.

Believe RallyBacker makes some sort of lip/splitter for the 17'.

We make a front splitter, very similar to the FRS/BRZ of previous years.

Go to 86speed (dot) com, mouse over the "More" tab, and click on "Kouki 86-BRZ." Not much there in terms of splitters, but I bet drilling some new holes on a splitter for a 2016 wouldn't be so hard. Even easier for a front diffuser. Honestly you should just find vendor sites like 86speed, subispeed, rallysport, etc and peruse their selections in their entirety. I guess that's an advantage of having the older car: more parts

Thanks for the input guys but those are all toyotas lips. I'm looking for lips that fit the MY17+ BRZ.

The only companies with 2017+ lips are: APR - Has replicas https://i.imgur.com/PqeP00M.jpg Chargespeed Version 1 - Has replicas https://i.imgur.com/Q0ahxvO.jpg STI and STI reproductions https://i.imgur.com/yZip9SM.jpg Chargespeed Version 2 https://i.imgur.com/g3G8DJX.jpg S-Craft https://i.imgur.com/suo4Vdp.jpg HT Autos - Pics on next page IKON style lip (found it on ebay - a reproduction of the 12-16 style lip but fitted for 2017+ bumpers) AIMGAIN (The lip will look weird alone, needs the accompanying front bumper (side burn) wide body extensions) *VIS Racing said they are looking to make a 17+ brz lip in the future. Nothing has come about this in over a year. Companies that have made 2017+ 86 lips: Rallybacker Greddy Chargespeed Version 1 Chargespeed Version 2 Stance Nation x Aimgain collaboration TRD (Looks bad ass if you get the LED lights option) Grazio Modellista Garage Vary VIS Racing Battle Aero C-West Silk Blaze TOM'S Seibon is currently working on an 86 lip |
Our splitter bolts up to 2017+ BRZ and GT86 bumpers, no problem :).

Can you confirm your splitter requires the support rods to be installed on a 2017 BRZ? Yours was a product I liked the looks of (particularly with the added endplates), and I liked for previous model years that there was the option of installing without support rods for <90 MPH, or with rods for greater speeds. It seems due to changes to the front end of the 2017 model year the mounting points now require the support rods for all installations. Is this true? I don't like the idea of drilling into the front crash beam to install this if that is the case, so I'll probably end up going in a different direction. Right now the APR front air dam (and other aero kit) is at the top of my list but I'm waiting a bit longer to see if anything else becomes available since there isn't much for 2017+ yet. |

Hope that helps make sense of everything. The drilling is minimal and 100's of people have done it so far. If you want a front splitter that produces reasonable amounts of downforce, you'll need to figure out a way to connect the splitter (any brand) to a support structure on the front of the vehicle (crash beam, rad support, etc). Thanks, Eric |

BRZ list updated.
After 7 months only new lips offered for the 2017+ BRZ are the FT86 speed factory reproductions of the sti & chargespeed style lips along with S-Craft offering a new style of lip. Also I came across an IKON style lip on ebay. They seem to have reproduced one of the IKON style lips but made the upper part mold to the bottom of the 17+ bumper. |
